Half-Day Tour of Maras and Moray

The Maras Salt Mines and the Moray archaeological complex are two impressive attractions located near Cusco, Peru.

Maras Salt Mines: These consist of more than 5,000 small pools filled with saltwater, which evaporate to extract the salt. These salt mines have been in use since Inca times and offer a unique and captivating view thanks to their geometric shapes and brilliant white colors.

Moray: This is an Inca archaeological complex known for its concentric circular terraces. These terraces were used as an agricultural laboratory where the Incas experimented with different microclimates for cultivation.

Both sites reflect the engineering and advanced knowledge of the Incas.
