Our guests must pay 100% of the amount in advance. Normally you will be asked for 30% &#8211; 50% at the time of booking and the balance must be paid upon arrival in Cusco, before the start of the tour.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PAYMENT METHODS:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Payments must be made in US Dollars. We have the following payment options:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.- CREDIT\/DEBIT CARD:<\/strong> You can make the payment with any card. To do this, the seller will have to send a payment link by email or WhatsApp, here the customer will fill in the information with their card details and proceed to make the payment. Keep in mind that the card must be enabled for international purchases and for online purchases. Payments by card will have an additional commission of 5%.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.- WESTERN UNION:<\/strong> For this payment option, the seller will have to send the details of the person in charge of collecting the money at Western Union stores. The customer can make the payment from a physical store or also online from<a href=\"http:\/\/www.westernunion.com\"> www.westernunion.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The shipping commissions will be assumed by the customer.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.- BANK TRANSFER:<\/strong> You can use your local bank for this option, keep in mind that you have to assume the shipping costs, in this case there are 2 amounts to consider: The amount that your bank will charge and the amount that the Peruvian bank will charge, this amount is US$ 80 American Dollars more or less, the money will arrive in 72 hours.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HOTEL BOOKINGS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>For hotel reservations in Peru, Chile and Bolivia, all tourists are exempt from paying taxes. To do so, it is necessary to present the original passport with the stamp of entry into the country at the time of check-in. In the case of a shared room, if one of the passengers does not meet the requirements for tax exemption, the entire room will be subject to said tax and they must pay it according to the percentage of each country. In Peru, Peruvians and foreigners domiciled or resident in Peru are subject to 18% VAT according to law (Dec.Leg.919).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>RECONFIRMATIONS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Before reconfirming to our passengers the availability of spaces for the tour or package they wish to take, we will have made the respective inquiries to our agents and\/or collaborators about the availability of spaces, with that assurance, we will give the passenger the go-ahead to make the corresponding payment.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Our passengers will proceed to transfer the money for the contracted service (using the payment methods already mentioned), they must also send us their personal information, such as: Passport Numbers, Nationality, Age, Sex, Profession, Food Preferences or any important detail that they consider necessary to mention (discomfort, illnesses, etc. For some adventure tours, we will require to know the height and weight of the passengers.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>If the client does not send the requested documents and payments on time, we will not be able to guarantee the availability or prices quoted by us. Prices may vary based on availability.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Important: For the entrances to the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu, as well as for the purchase of train tickets and some hotel reservations, we require that passengers send us photos of their passports or ID cards, please verify that these photos are legible and that their personal information is included, this is also important to verify the birth dates of children.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Once the money is in our accounts, we will proceed to re-confirm the contracted services to our clients via email or WhatsApp. We will then proceed to make payments to the suppliers.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CANCELLATIONS AN REFUNDS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>As soon as Explora el Per\u00fa confirms the tours paid for by our guests, it proceeds to block\/reserve\/pay for the requested spaces, whether they are: Hotels, Trains, Transportation, Guides, Transfers, Entrances to the Inca Trail, etc. To do so, in case of cancellation and according to the policies of our collaborators, refunds may be as follows:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-list\">\n<ul class=\"advgblist-f6cbba2d-9654-47aa-ae59-dde7edaada79 advgb-list advgb-list-yes\">\n<li>Up to 30 days before the start of the tour, we will refund 75% of the amount paid by the passenger.<\/li>\n\n<li>From 29 to 08 days before the start of the service, we will refund 50% of the amount paid by the passenger.<\/li>\n\n<li>7 days before the start of the service, there will be no refund<\/li>\n\n<li>To reconfirm the reservation, we will normally request payment of 50% of the price of the tour or service, the balance must be paid before the departure of the contracted tour or service without any exception or extension.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PAYMENT AGREEMENT WITH CUSTOMERS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Clients are obliged to comply with the specific dates of payments for the agreed services, if this does not happen, we (Explora el Per\u00fa) will not be responsible for the increase in rates, cancellation of reservations, change of operators, partial or total cancellations of the service.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT NOTE:<\/strong> In the following cases there will be <strong>no refunds<\/strong> (regardless of the cancellation time):<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-list\">\n<ul class=\"advgblist-401fc86d-d38b-4672-b119-4a0d28dd11ce advgb-list advgb-list-yes\">\n<li>Machu Picchu Tickets<\/li>\n\n<li>Inca Trail Tickets<\/li>\n\n<li>Flights<\/li>\n\n<li>Train Tickets<\/li>\n\n<li>Hotel Reservations (in some cases these dates can be changed)<\/li>\n\n<li>Tours already contracted (in some cases these dates can be changed)<\/li>\n\n<li>Transfers (in some cases these dates can be changed)<\/li>\n\n<li>If we do not reach the minimum number of participants for our groups in collective service, we reserve the right to alter or cancel the contracted tour or service. If we cancel the tour or service, we will refund 100% of the amount paid by our clients (unless there are other additional expenses involved in the organization of the tour or service).<\/li>\n\n<li>If the passenger cancels during the tour, there will be no refund, since these services are contracted in full in advance. Also keep in mind that this may generate additional expenses that the client will have to assume.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PRICE VARIATION IN CONTRACTED SERVICES:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The prices indicated are subject to change depending on the change in the dollar price and the prices set by the service providers. In this case, if the passenger has already paid 100% of the tour price, Explora el Per\u00fa will assume the possible price increase.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In the event that the passenger has not made any payment or the payment is in transit, we will not be responsible for the price increases, we will only be responsible once the money is in our accounts.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>If the money does not arrive in a timely manner to block the spaces that the passenger purchased, we will not be responsible if we lose the quotas of the agreed services (case of air flights, hotels, entrances to Machu Picchu, Inca Trail, etc.), if that happens, we will do everything possible to try to solve the problem, changing operator, route, tour, etc. If this change means additional expenses, we will charge the corresponding price to our passengers.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>INFORMATION TO PASSENGERS ABOUT THE STATUS OF THEIR RESERVATIONS, CHANGE OF OPERATORS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Once we have reconfirmed the passenger&#8217;s trip, we will keep them constantly informed via WhatsApp or email about the status of their reservations. We reserve the right to change accommodations, operators, trains, transport, airlines for similar ones to those offered to our passengers, for reasons of safety, comfort, availability, etc.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CHANGES IN RESERVATIONS, DATES, PASSENGERS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In some cases we will accept changes to dates, participants and\/or changes to tours, as long as the reservations and\/or payments for the contracted services have not been made. If this is the case, the client will have to send us an email requesting such changes. In many cases, our suppliers will charge penalties for this service.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS\/PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITY<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Passengers must be sure of the requirements they need for their trip, such as: Visas, passports, vaccinations, permits for minors, etc., since due to these reasons, they could lose their trip or international flight.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In case of total cancellation of the trip at the last minute, we will not make any refund.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>If the clients have hired buses, trains, flights, boats, etc. by themselves, and we will provide them with transfers for these services once they arrive at the destination, the passengers have the obligation to tell us if the bus, train, flight, boat, etc. has changed its schedule, we will not be responsible if the clients give us incorrect information for these services.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The client is obliged to see their tourist visa, to enter Peru, the passport must be valid for at least 8 months. These regulations may vary, consult previously with the consulate of the country where you will travel.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Clients are required to bring their identification documents (valid passports and\/or identity cards if applicable), these will be presented upon request during the trip, if you do not have them with you, you may miss the tours or services contracted, we will not be responsible if this happens and we do not assume possible expenses if they arise.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We will not be responsible if our clients do not provide clear information about the arrival times of their flights, trains, buses, as this could affect the itineraries already organized. In addition, when they are shared services, they have specific schedules, which cannot vary.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>EXPLORA EL PER\u00da,<\/strong> EXPLORA EL PER\u00da is in a position to change, alter, or cancel the itinerary of any trip for security reasons, such as: natural phenomena, political issues, epidemics and\/or circumstances beyond our control. In these cases, there will be no refunds from our company.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Likewise, we are in the position of limiting the participation of some of our passengers to the activities that we see fit, due to the safety of the group, for example:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-list\">\n<ul class=\"advgblist-98d06274-813b-47ee-8486-1acf4489636e advgb-list advgb-list-yes\">\n<li>We cannot take a sick passenger on a tour that poses a potential risk to said passenger and to the integrity of the group (this can even be assessed by the guide at the start of the tour).<\/li>\n\n<li>We cannot carry passengers who are intoxicated or in a dangerous state that threatens the development of the tour, the health of the group and the passenger themselves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>NOTES:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-list\">\n<ul class=\"advgblist-dad08b5a-2e5c-4b28-aafe-23ba630518de advgb-list advgb-list-yes\">\n<li>In our shared services, we will pick up our clients from their hotel as long as it is located in the city center. If the hotel is far from the center, we will set a time and a fixed meeting place.<\/li>\n\n<li>In our shared services, at the end of the tour, we leave our clients in a place close to the Main Square.<\/li>\n\n<li>Pick-up and arrival times are indicative, this will depend on the traffic that may be found on the streets or the delay of other clients, our assistant will arrive at your hotel on time, but sometimes the transport could be delayed a few minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-list\">\n<ul class=\"advgblist-f13e674a-8fac-4965-b8da-7c792d78af57 advgb-list advgb-list-yes\">\n<li>We will not assume any additional costs arising from changes in itineraries or services that are not included in the travel contract. If this occurs, such costs must be fully assumed by the client<\/li>\n\n<li>Clients must indicate if they have any special needs (out of the ordinary) for their tours, such as food, diet, medications, illnesses, weight, height, etc. If clients do not inform about their special conditions, we will not be responsible.
