ITINERARY

Day 1: Cusco

Upon arrival in Cusco, our transportation will meet you and take you comfortably to your hotel, located in the city center. You will have the rest of the day free to rest and acclimate to the altitude, exploring the historic and cultural streets at your own pace.

Day 2: City Tour

In the morning, you will have free time to rest or explore Cusco at your own pace.
At approximately 1:00 p.m., we will begin a fascinating city tour, starting with a visit to Qorikancha, the majestic Temple of the Sun, where we will admire the fusion of Inca architecture with Spanish colonial influence.
Next, we will visit four impressive archaeological sites located on the outskirts of Cusco: Saqsayhuamán, Qenqo, Tambomachay, and Puka Pukara.
The tour ends at approximately 6:30 p.m., just one block from the Plaza de Armas, allowing you to enjoy the historic center at sunset.

Day 3: Cusco / Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes

At approximately 6:30 a.m., we will pick up our passengers from their hotels to begin our journey through the Sacred Valley.
We will start by visiting a weaving association, where we will learn about the process of washing, dyeing, and weaving garments made from alpaca wool.
Next, we will visit the archaeological site of Chinchero, where our guide will provide insights into its history and significance. We will continue to Moray, a remarkable Inca agricultural center with circular terraces, and then visit the Maras Salt Mines, famous for their salt extraction terraces nestled in the mountains.
We will continue our journey to the city of Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
Finally, we will explore the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, an imposing Inca fortress with terraces and stone temples.
At the end of the visit, we will head to the train station to board our transportation to Aguas Calientes, where the hotel staff will be waiting to transfer and accommodate us.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco

After breakfast in Aguas Calientes, we will board the bus that will take us to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, a journey of approximately 30 minutes.
In Machu Picchu, we will take a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, exploring the most important sectors of this world wonder. After the tour, you will have free time to enjoy the scenery and take unforgettable photos.
Then, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch before boarding the return train to Ollantaytambo.
In the afternoon, we will take the train to Ollantaytambo, where our team will be waiting to transfer us back to Cusco.

Day 5: Cusco / Humantay Lake / Cusco

At 4:00 a.m., we will start the tour by picking up our passengers from their hotels. We will head north, traveling for approximately 2 hours to the town of Mollepata (2,700m), where we will have breakfast. Then, we will continue for another hour to Soraypampa (3,890m), the starting point of our hike.
The hike to Humantay Lake (4,200m) covers a distance of 3 km, taking approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, all uphill. Once we arrive, we will have free time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and take stunning photos.
After the visit, we will descend to Soraypampa, where we will board our transportation back to Mollepata and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Finally, we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 p.m. The tour ends two blocks from the Main Square.

Day 6: Cusco / Rainbow Mountain / Cusco

At 4:30 a.m., we will pick up our clients from their hotels to begin this exciting adventure tour. We will depart by transportation to our restaurant, located 1 hour and 30 minutes south of Cusco, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, we will continue for another hour to the starting point of our hike.
We will hike for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Rainbow Mountain, always accompanied by our guide. Once at the top, we will have time to take the best photos of the breathtaking landscape.
We will return to our transportation and take the same route back to the restaurant, where a delicious lunch awaits us. After lunch, we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Day 7: Cusco / Lima

Today is our last day in this wonderful city, and at the scheduled time in the morning, we will transfer to Cusco airport.
Flight from Cusco to Lima (not included).
Upon arrival in Lima, we will transfer to the hotel.
At 2:30 p.m., we will begin a city tour of Lima. We will visit the Palace of Justice, the Lima Museum, the Museum of Italian Art, the French Palace, and Plaza San Martín.
Our walking tour will start at Plaza de Armas, where we will admire the Lima Cathedral, the Municipal Palace, the Government Palace, and the Archbishop’s Palace, with free time for photos of these main attractions.
We will enter the Convent of San Francisco and visit one of its main attractions: the catacombs, a series of underground passageways beneath the church, where the city’s early inhabitants were buried.

Day 8: Lima / Paracas / Huacachina / Lima

Our day will begin very early with an exciting adventure. We will head to Paracas, where we will take an incredible boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, home to a diverse range of wildlife, including sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and a variety of seabirds.
Afterward, we will continue our journey to Ica, a region famous for its extensive vineyards. Here, we will visit a local vineyard, where we will learn about the process of making the famous Pisco and enjoy a tasting.
Our next stop will be Huacachina, an impressive oasis in the middle of the desert. Here, we will experience an extreme adventure in dune buggies, a thrilling activity as we descend the sand dunes. Additionally, we will have the chance to try sandboarding, sliding down the sandy slopes.
At the end of this exciting day, we will begin our return journey to Lima, arriving at approximately 10:00 p.m., where we will check into our hotel.

Day 9: Lima

Today is our last day in this wonderful city, and at the scheduled time, we will transfer to Lima airport.

  • Keep in mind that there are several circuits in Machu Picchu. The most popular are Circuits 1 and 2, which sell out up to 3 months in advance. It is recommended to book at least the entrance ticket in advance.
  • It is important to bring the document used to purchase the Machu Picchu entrance tickets.
  • If you wish to visit Huayna Picchu Mountain, it is necessary to book in advance, as spaces are limited. The additional cost is $65 USD per person.
  • The price may vary depending on the client’s choice of train, hotel, or meals.
  • The hikes to Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain are not suitable for people with heart conditions.
